First Lego League 2nd Place WIN by CMIT Elementary RoboTigers Team!
The First (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Lego League is an international competition for students in fourth through and eighth grade, in which teams research a real-world problem and develop a solution as well as build and program a robot to participate in a tabletop competition. More than 32,000 teams from 88 countries participate, according to the FIRST LEGO League website. For the 2017-18 season, First LEGO League teams tackled a hydrodynamics challenge.
Coach Mr. Inci and his team of seven students worked every Monday and Saturday since September to build their robot. The team consisted of 4th and 5th-gradestudents. There were eighteen elementary and middle school teams in the competition. CMIT Elementary Tigers
received robot performance award Trophy in 2nd place. We named our robot “CMIT Tigers”. Congratulations to all CMIT Tigers Teams for participating in the FLL program!
Way to go Tigers! We are so proud of all team members’ work.
